Air Rifle FX DRS 700mm Walnut Grade 2 6,35mm

The fact that the Swedish company FX Airguns is once again coming out with a high-performance and exceptionally accurate PCP air rifle is no great surprise. Their airguns are already renowned worldwide. This time, however, they have come up with something truly unique – a airgun whose cartridge wraps around the barrel.

The FX DRS series airguns at first glance resemble sniper rifles. This is further enhanced by the modernized SHP power plenum protruding from the underside, which looks like a magazine. As usual, the actual magazine is inserted into a slot in the middle of the classic 11mm "dovetail" rail for the scope and holds projectiles up to 11.3mm (0.45") in length.

Superior Heavy Smooth Twist X – As is customary with FX products, the rifling of the barrel is impressed from the outside. The result is an exceptionally smooth inner surface that minimizes friction when firing. The cartridge guided around the barrel also serves as a casing, called a shroud, which stiffens the entire airgun and reduces oscillations during the shot. The outer diameter of the shroud is 34mm. For possible installation of a sound moderator, the barrel muzzle is equipped with a classic 1/2UNF thread.

To maintain the sleek appearance of the entire airgun, the adjustment elements of the AMP MkII regulator and the striker spring have been moved inside the stock, which must be disassembled for adjustments. However, the airgun is factory-tuned to offer the best balance of power, accuracy, and air consumption with most commonly available ammunition straight out of the box.

This model features a gracefully shaped walnut stock from the renowned Italian manufacturer Minelli with a fixed cheekpiece and a fixed soft rubber buttpad. The cocking lever is firmly mounted on the right side, as is the lever-type manual safety. On the left side, there is a pressure gauge indicating the current pressure in the cartridge and a fully adjustable trigger with a variable blade position, which hardly needs mentioning.

NOTE: With this airgun, it is important to monitor the remaining pressure in the cartridge. We recommend maintaining pressure at approximately 150 bar or above. If the pressure falls below the regulator's set value, the airgun may become completely depressurized.
