This time, however, we are dealing with the extended Star version. Compared to the standard version, it boasts a stock enhanced with an adjustable cheekpiece. As for the remaining elements, these are practically unchanged.
What always excites users of Cometa rifles are undoubtedly the wooden stocks, and this model is no exception. The beautifully crafted beech stock immediately stands out thanks to its universally shaped cheekpiece and decorative checkering on the gripping areas. The whole assembly is finished with a rubber butt pad to provide greater comfort during prolonged shooting.
When shooting, you can rely on a high-quality rifled barrel with a length of 450 mm, mechanical sights with fibre-optic inserts (fixed front sight with red insert and fully adjustable rear sight with green insert) – these can be replaced with a scope thanks to the presence of an 11mm rail – and a fully adjustable trigger (pull weight, travel).
Safety must not be overlooked either, and the manufacturer addresses this with an automatic safety. It engages automatically with every cocking cycle. To disengage it, simply push it forward.
