Chicken à la Wild with Rice Adventure Menu

This is a product line of sterilised Ready to eat meals made from 100% natural ingredients. They come from the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. These are hand-cooked meals preserved without chemicals. Even so, the stored sterilised meal has a shelf life of up to 3 years. You don’t need any water to prepare them. Just heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system (here you need at least a couple of decilitres of water) and you have food on the go just like at home (and often even better). It is ideal for shorter trips where you don’t count every gram, or for places with limited drinking water.

Kuřecí na divoko s rýží is a very hearty meal that will replenish your energy and warm you up on the road. It is one of the most popular dishes, especially thanks to its taste and balanced nutritional values. Inside the pouch you will find chicken thigh pieces steamed with onion pieces, bacon and tomato purée. There’s nothing like having a full main course on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day hike in nature, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the nearly impossible and has taken the Czech MRE (meal ready to eat) another step closer to gastronomic heaven.

Kuřecí na divoko contains 30% chicken thigh meat, 12% natural rice, onion, bacon, curd cheese, rice and corn flour, tomato purée, rapeseed oil, salt, paprika, pepper and chilli. In total, inside you will find 5.6% fat, 1.3% saturated fat, 8.1% protein, 13.4% carbohydrates, 0.7% sugar and 1.2% salt. Altogether it provides 544 kcal (2,292 kJ).

The pack measures 19 x 15 x 5 cm and weighs only 408 g. Inside you will find 400 g of food. The content of the pouch equals one full serving.
