It emits light with a wavelength of 650 nm, making it a red laser with an output below 5 mW. You can mount the sight on the underside of the fore-end of any pistol or rifle with a 22 mm Weaver rail. Installation is quite easy using two Allen screws. The appropriate key is already included in the package.
The laser is powered by three button batteries type LR1130, which are also included. The batteries are inserted into the slot hidden under the switch at the rear of the laser. You need to unscrew it, insert the batteries and then tighten it firmly again. Then just press the switch and the laser is ready to use. At the muzzle end of the laser you will find two small Allen screws that serve as laser adjustment controls, so you can zero it according to how your pistol shoots. The required key is again included in the package.
