The Czech brand VALIANT is entering the market with a new range of highly durable and affordable riflescopes under the name ZEPHYR. These are scopes with the best price-to-quality ratio. They offer a beautifully clear image and high-quality workmanship.
Valiant Zephyr riflescopes have undergone demanding tests to withstand the toughest conditions. The reinforced 30mm one-piece tube is made of aircraft-grade duralumin and is nitrogen‑filled. Thanks to this, it has high mechanical resistance and does not fog up. The lenses are coated with a multi-layer green anti-reflective coating, which guarantees a clear and bright image even in poor light conditions. The eyepiece of the scope offers optical correction of -2/+2 dioptres. The etched glass reticle is extremely resistant to recoil corresponding to calibre .375 H&H, i.e. over 6000 J.
This model uses a Mil-Dot reticle, which is suitable for long-range shooting. The reticle is located in the second focal plane, so it remains the same size when zooming. It can be illuminated in green or red in 5 intensity levels. Thanks to the large intensity adjustment range and the fact that only the centre of the reticle is illuminated, there is no risk of unpleasant glare.
The scope has exposed turrets that are resettable and lockable (Premium Locking System). The adjustment step is 1/4 MOA. To operate, simply pull the turret up; after zeroing, push the turret back down and you can be sure it will not move. The turrets are sufficiently large and the individual clicks are clearly defined, so you can use them while wearing gloves. The clicking itself is very distinct – you can not only feel each click with your fingers, but also hear it clearly. On this model, the parallax adjustment is located on the side of the scope. The VALIANT brand has worked to reduce parallax error to a minimum, which shooters will certainly appreciate.
Thanks to innovative design features, it offers a 30% larger field of view, improved image sharpness and more accurate colour rendition. The special design also eliminates the so‑called “tunnel effect” when looking through the scope (with correct eye position the image completely loses black edges). For comfortable handling you will also find a large side wheel for parallax adjustment in the box. The sunshade can be mounted for shooting in bright sunlight or on snow.
