The etched glass reticle is extremely resistant to recoil and is suitable for all airguns and firearms without calibre limitation.
Among the main advantages of Valiant riflescopes is the one-piece tube made of aircraft-grade duralumin, which ensures higher mechanical resistance. The Themys series has lenses coated with a green filter.
The development of this riflescope took place in cooperation with sports shooters. This resulted in a completely unique HFT reticle. The special “kill zone” is designed specifically for this shooting discipline. Magnification 4-12x is fully sufficient for shooting up to 50 metres. The reticle is located in the second focal plane, so it remains the same when zooming. The turrets are exposed, so there is no need to cover them with special caps. The adjustment step is 1/4 MOA. The turrets are large enough and clearly separate individual clicks, so you can operate them even with gloves. The clicking itself is very distinct; you can not only feel each click with your fingers, but also clearly hear it.
On the Themys model range, the parallax adjustment is located at the front. The Valiant brand has worked to keep parallax error as low as possible. Shooters will appreciate this especially in sport shooting. Thanks to many innovative design elements, the field of view has increased by 30%, image sharpness has also improved, and colour rendition is more faithful.
The turrets are exposed for easier handling. The locking system is excellently designed, so accidental rotation will not occur. Naturally, there is also dioptre adjustment in the range from -2 to +2. This model has an overall length of 355 mm and 433 mm with the sunshade mounted.
