The compact version follows the design of the popular HDP 50, which has gained popularity due to its high reliability and durability. Its construction consists of a polymer body and a metal internal mechanism. The total weight does not exceed 585 g.
It's powered by one 8g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted into the grip. This model features a so-called "quick-piercing" or "emergency activation" system via the extended cartridge cap, which punctures the cartridge right before use. That means you can keep the cartridge inside for months without worrying about the compressed CO2 damaging the seals over time.
The .50 caliber rubber / pepper balls are inserted into the integrated 4-round magazine located under the barrel. The fired balls reach an energy of 11 J and a velocity of 135 m/s (depending on the projectile weight).
The T4E (Training for Engagement) series of guns from the German company Umarex are an effective means of self-defense. That's why they are used by many armed forces and professionals for training. However, you don't have to be a professional to have a lot of fun with them too.
