The German company Umarex introduces an incredibly faithful replica of the world-famous Colt 1911 pistol by the equally legendary John M. Browning. The Colt 1911 is one of the most iconic and successful pistols in military history, and has been a favorite since its introduction over a century ago. This model faithfully adheres to the classic design and embodies the timeless elements that made the pistol a true legend.
Shooters and collectors will be drawn to the authentic all-metal construction, which gives the gun a realistic weight and feel. The unique look of the Vintage model is enhanced by the worn finish and checkered grips made from real wood. The shooting experience is enhanced by a powerful Blowback system.
The internal mechanism is powered by a classic 12g CO2 cartridge which is inserted into a 17 round magazine. According to the manufacturer, the firing capacity is stated to be about 45 shots per cartridge. Accidental firing is prevented by 2 safeties - one on the left side of the gun and the other one is the so-called "Beavertail" safety on the back of the grip.
