It has a tactical polymer stock with cheekpiece, finished with a rubber buttpad. On the fore-end you will find a Picatinny rail mounting system. Thanks to this you can mount various tactical accessories such as a laser or flashlight on the rifle.
Umarex 850 M2 is a rifle with a somewhat higher weight. After all, holding an air rifle weighing over three kilos will require some stamina. This rifle is suitable mainly for shooting at longer distances. That is also why you will appreciate the lower mounting rail. You will then be able to attach a bipod. Hammerli 850 is made exactly for that. It has a 600 mm long rifled barrel with a 1/2 UNF thread for a sound moderator.
For shorter distances you will use Tru-Glo sights made of fibre-optic material. For shooting at more distant targets you will then use the 11 mm mounting rail, on which you can mount any riflescope.
When you slide the fore-end back, you get to the very heart of the rifle — its power source. It is powered by an 88 g CO2 cartridge, with which you will fire approximately 200 shots. Alternatively, you can use an adapter for two 12 g CO2 cartridges. However, this is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. Two cartridges will be enough for approx. 75 shots.
Umarex 850 M2 uses a metal 8-shot rotary magazine for pellets with a diameter of 5.5 mm. Reloading with the bolt-action lever is very simple and smooth. Before each shot it is necessary to disengage the automatic safety, which is easily accessible with the thumb. You will feel like a real sniper. Why not give it a try?
