Thermal clip-on ThermTec Hunt 650

With this perfectly crafted thermal clip-on full of modern technologies called ThermTec Hunt 650, you can easily turn any standard riflescope into a powerful thermal scope.

The foundation is of course the thermal core – it has a resolution of 640x512px, a thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤20mK (it can distinguish temperature differences smaller than 0.020°C) and a pixel pitch of only 12µm. The 50mm objective lens allows target detection at distances of up to 2600m and provides no optical magnification or digital zoom, so it does not distort the image in any way. The manufacturer recommends using it with day optics with a magnification of 1-10x.

The resulting image is projected onto a 1024x768 AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 50Hz, and focusing is adjusted using a rotary control on the top of the device. You can choose from 6 colour palettes (white hot, black hot, red hot, green, golden, violet) and also enable target silhouette highlighting. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, the device also informs you of the target distance.

Recordings in the form of photos and videos together with audio are stored on the built-in 64GB storage, or can be streamed in real time to the ThermTec Outdoor mobile app. The package also includes a remote control resembling a ring, which allows you to conveniently make any changes to your thermal device. The remote control case also serves as its charging station with an integrated battery.

The thermal clip-on can operate continuously for up to 6 hours, and the supplied USB-C cable is used to charge the battery and transfer data.

All components are protected by a compact yet highly durable magnesium alloy housing with an IP67 rating, and the device withstands recoil equivalent of up to 6000 J. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +50°C.

To mount the ThermTec Hunt model on a riflescope, it is necessary to purchase separately an adapter with M52x0.75 thread and the correct ring size according to the outer objective diameter of the riflescope. Note – this is not the lens diameter. We recommend measuring the objective with a calliper.
