PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
With this perfectly crafted thermal clip-on full of modern technologies called ThermTec Hunt 335, you can easily turn any standard rifle scope into a powerful thermal sight.
The core of the device is of course the thermal sensor – it has a resolution of 384x288px, a thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤20mK (it can distinguish temperature differences smaller than 0.020°C) and a pixel pitch of only 12µm. The 35mm lens allows target detection at distances of up to 1800m and provides no optical or digital magnification, so it does not distort the image in any way. The manufacturer recommends using it on day optics with a magnification of 1-8x.
The resulting image is projected onto a 1024x768 AMOLED display with a smooth refresh rate of 50Hz, and a rotary knob on the top of the device is used for focusing. You can choose from 6 colour palettes (white hot, black hot, red hot, green, golden, violet) as well as the option of target outline enhancement. Thanks to the use of artificial intelligence, the device will also inform you about the distance to the target.
Recordings in the form of photos and videos together with audio are saved to the built-in 64GB storage, or can be streamed in real time to the mobile app ThermTec Outdoor. The package also includes a remote control resembling a ring, with which you can comfortably make any adjustments to your thermal imager. The remote control case also serves as its charging station with an integrated battery.
The thermal clip-on will operate continuously for up to 7 hours, and the supplied USB-C cable is used for charging the battery and data transfer.
All components are protected by a compact yet highly durable magnesium alloy housing with an IP67 protection rating, and the device withstands recoil of up to 6000 J. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +50°C.
To mount the ThermTec Hunt model on a rifle scope, it is necessary to purchase separately an adapter with M52x0.75 thread and the correct clamp size according to the outer diameter of the objective of the rifle scope. Note – this is not the lens diameter. We recommend measuring the objective with a caliper.
