The second generation of the thermal riflescope ThermTec Ares 335 2.0 is one of the few that offers variable optical magnification. In addition, it uses artificial intelligence for rangefinding and can even recognize the type of object, which will be especially appreciated by hunters with high demands.
The Ares riflescope is equipped with a 35mm lens, a 50Hz AMOLED display with high resolution of 1024x768px and a smooth digital zoom (1-4x), diopter adjustment ±5 and a high-quality 12µm sensor with a resolution of 384x288px and thermal sensitivity NETD <20mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), making it suitable even for adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.

As one of the few thermal riflescopes, it offers 3.2x optical magnification, which makes it easy to monitor the surroundings and at the same time bring a specific target three times closer.
Another advantage of the Ares series is the use of artificial intelligence – it can automatically calculate the distance to the target and, above all, it is able to recognize what type of object it is – for example whether it is a human or an animal.
The thermal imaging interface offers 6 colour palettes and 7 reticles with the option of zeroing for up to 5 different weapons, so everyone can find a suitable setup. Naturally, it also features a picture-in-picture function, allowing you to zoom in on the target while maintaining the surrounding field of view.
The software is adapted for use together with a mobile phone via the SmartThermal app, using Wi-Fi or a Hotspot. Thanks to this dedicated app you can also receive alerts when an animal or a person appears in the field of view, including their distance. The resulting footage can be saved to a 64GB integrated memory module.

Power is provided by two batteries, one built-in and one replaceable 18650/18500, allowing the scope to run continuously for up to 18 hours. The device is charged via a USB-C port.
The robust housing with IP67 protection rating withstands recoil up to 850G, is compatible with a 30mm tube mount and allows operation at temperatures from -20 to 50°C.
