New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The thermal riflescope STELLAR SQ50 by Hikmicro is equipped with a 1024x768px OLED display and a 12µm sensor with a resolution of 640x512px with 8x digital zoom and thermal sensitivity of NETD <35mK (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), thanks to which the scope is also suitable for bad weather such as rain, fog, or snow.
The advantage of this thermal riflescope is the shot-activated recording function, where recording starts 7 seconds before the shot and ends 7 seconds after the shot. The result is a 14-second video with sound.
The scope can remain in continuous operation for an impressive 13 hours. The device is powered by two built-in rechargeable lithium batteries and one replaceable CR123A battery and can be connected to an external power source via a USB-C interface.
It offers 4 colour palettes - White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot and Fusion and 5 groups of reticles (zeroing for up to 5 rifles) in 4 colours, a total of 10 types. Of course, there is also the Hot Spot Tracking function – tracking the hottest point.
Real-time footage can be streamed to the Hikmicro Sight app, where you can browse all saved videos and images, or it can be stored on the built-in 64 GB memory.
The housing of the device is made of magnalium – a robust aluminium-magnesium alloy – and has water resistance rating of IP67.
