Thermal monocular ThermTec Cyclops CP315 PRO

The thermal imaging monocular ThermTec Cyclops CP315 PRO is one of the few that uses artificial intelligence for rangefinding and can even recognize the type of object.

The Cyclops monocular is equipped with a 15mm lens, a 50Hz OLED display with a high resolution of 1024x768px, with a smooth digital 1-6x zoom, dioptre adjustment of ±5, a quality 12µm sensor with a resolution of 384x288px and a thermal sensitivity of NETD <25mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), which makes it suitable even for adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.

The main advantage of the Cyclops series is the use of artificial intelligence – it can automatically calculate the distance to the target and, most importantly, it can recognize what type of object it is – for example, whether it is a human or an animal.

The monocular offers 6 color palettes and 6 reticles, so everyone can choose their preferred setup. It is also equipped with electronic image stabilisation and a GPS function, so you will always know the location where the footage was recorded. All functions are configured in an unconventional way – the Cyclops series uses a joystick instead of standard buttons.

Cyclops is designed to be used together with a mobile phone via the SmartThermal app, using both Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Thanks to the app you can also receive alerts if an animal or a person appears in the monocular’s field of view, including its distance.

Power is supplied by 2 built-in Li-ion 18650 batteries, which allow the monocular to run for up to 12 hours of continuous operation. The device is charged via a USB-C port.

The ergonomically shaped body of the monocular is finished with a comfortable rubber eyecup. Thanks to the materials used and the high-quality workmanship, the Cyclops thermal imaging monocular is resistant to drops from a height of 1m and has an IP67 protection rating.
