Thermal monocular ThermTec Cyclops CP319 PRO

The thermal monocular ThermTec Cyclops CP319 PRO is one of the few devices that uses artificial intelligence to measure distance and can even recognise the type of object.

The Cyclops monocular is equipped with a 19mm lens, a 50Hz OLED display with a high resolution of 1024x768px, with a smooth digital 1-6x zoom, dioptre adjustment of ±5, a quality 12µm sensor with a resolution of 384x288px and a thermal sensitivity of NETD <25mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), making it suitable even for adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snow.

The advantage of the Cyclops series is the use of artificial intelligence – it can automatically calculate the distance to the target and, above all, it can recognise what type of object it is – for example, whether it is a human or an animal.

The monocular offers 6 colour palettes and 6 reticles, so there is something for everyone. It is also equipped with electronic image stabilisation and a GPS function, which ensures you always know where a recording was made. All functions are set in an unusual way – the Cyclops series uses a joystick instead of conventional buttons.

Cyclops is designed to be used together with a mobile phone via the SmartThermal app, using both Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Thanks to the app, you can also receive alerts when an animal or a person moves into the monocular’s field of view, including their distance.

Power is supplied by 2 built-in Li-ion 18650 batteries, which allow the monocular to operate for up to 12 hours of continuous use. The device is charged via a USB-C port.

The ergonomically shaped body of the monocular is finished with a comfortable rubber eyecup. Thanks to the materials used and high-quality workmanship, the Cyclops thermal monocular is resistant to drops from a height of 1m and has an IP67 protection rating.
