Cyclops CP650D is the latest addition to the Cyclops family of thermal monoculars from ThermTec. Its above-standard parameters leave no doubt that this is a professional device for experienced hunters and gamekeepers who demand the highest quality.
To achieve a maximally detailed and eye-pleasing image, the monocular is equipped with a highly sensitive 640x512 px sensor with a thermal sensitivity of ≤ 25 mK and a OLED 1024x768 px display.
Advanced technology combined with a 50 mm lens makes it possible to achieve an incredible detection range of up to 2500 metres. Artificial intelligence helps with distance measurement – it can automatically calculate the distance to the target and, above all, it can recognise what type of object it is – for example, whether it is a person or an animal.
Conditions during observation and user preferences may vary, therefore you can choose one of 6 colour palettes or one of 7 reticles for the projected image, allowing you to adapt optimally to the surrounding landscape.
The new Cyclips D model stands out above all for its highly accurate 2x optical zoom, which does not suffer from pixelation and maintains top image quality at both short and long distances. A smooth transition with maximum detail when changing distances is ensured by the 6x digital zoom.
Modern software allows you to connect to the Smart Thermal app via Wi-Fi or Hotspot and watch live images on your smartphone or activate the alert function. Navigating the menu and settings is very intuitive thanks to the built-in joystick. All captured photos and videos are stored in the internal memory with a capacity of 32 GB.
The menu includes a whole range of useful functions: GPS, electronic image stabilisation, or PIP (picture-in-picture function).
Power is provided by two built-in Li-ion batteries 18650 with a microUSB-C port and a runtime of up to 12 hours.
All sensitive components are protected by a robust housing with protection rating IP67, which guarantees resistance to water and dust. It also withstands immersion in water to a depth of 1 m and an operating temperature range of -20℃ to +50℃.
