The thermal clip-on Hikmicro THUNDER Pro TQ50C is packed with the most advanced image processing technologies and high‑quality components, all housed in a compact yet durable metal body.
The Pro TQ50C version is equipped with an OLED display with a resolution of 1024x768px, digital 8x zoom, a built‑in rangefinder, a 50mm lens and, above all, a 12μm sensor with a resolution of 640x512px and high thermal sensitivity of <35mk (the lower the value, the more sensitive it is), thanks to which the clip‑on is suitable even for bad weather such as rain, fog or snow.
The clip‑on can remain in continuous operation for more than 3 hours. If that is still not enough, the batteries (2x CR123A) can be easily replaced, or the device can be connected to an external power bank via a USB‑C interface.
It offers 4 selectable colour palettes – White Heat, Black Heat, Red Heat and Fusion – and 5 different reticles with 3 selectable colours.
Real‑time footage can be streamed to the Hikmicro Sight app, where you can browse all stored videos and images, or it can be saved to the built‑in 16 GB Micro SD module.
The body is made of magnalium – a strong aluminium alloy – and has water resistance rating IPX7.
A clear image even in complete darkness is ensured by several state‑of‑the‑art technologies:
- Automatic Gain Control (AGC) automatically adjusts the image dynamic range
- Digital Detail Enhancement (DDE) sharpens the image even in low‑contrast areas
- 3D Digital Noise Reduction (3D DNR) removes grainy artefacts that distort the image
The package does not include a mount, an adapter ring for using the device as a riflescope clip‑on, or an eyepiece for using the device as a riflescope.
