This tool steel named D2 is designed for the harshest treatment. Thanks to its very high level of carbon and other additives, it can reach a hardness of HRC 61-62, which is one of the highest possible values. Such knife retains its sharpness for a very long time. In addition, it has a fair percentage of chromium, therefore it will withstand some rust as well.

BLADE MADE OF 3CR13 STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel called 3cr13 is the ultimate choice for everyday carry knives. With a lower hardness of HRC 54-56, it is easier to sharpen and thanks to its high chromium content, you don't have to worry about corrosion.
