PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Machine translated

Taipan Veteran belongs among Bullpup models, which are very popular nowadays. When you look at the workmanship of the individual parts, for example the trigger mechanism, you will see a high level of quality. In this respect it surpasses much more expensive air rifles. The package includes two magazines, a single-shot tray adapter and a quickfill adaptor.

You will find the two main innovations of this rifle in the area of reloading. The first is the fact that it is not possible to load a pellet twice, and therefore accidental barrel blockage cannot occur. The second relates to the barrel area and the air port, which has been designed to prevent pellet deformation.

To mount a riflescope you use a 22 mm Weaver rail, which is located in the centre of the rifle and canted by 20 MOA. The barrel is finished with a quality moderator, which is connected to the barrel with a 1/2 UNF thread. Under the barrel itself there is a high-capacity air reservoir. This air cylinder runs almost the entire length of the rifle and is finished with a Wika manometer. The cylinder capacity is 355 cm3.

The current pressure during filling is indicated by numbers in BAR. In the front part there is an opening for the quickfill adapter. Cocking is done using a side lever system, which is very precise and easy to operate. The side lever can be swapped to the other side, which will be especially appreciated by left-handed shooters.

The manufacturers have put a lot of effort into the trigger mechanism, which allows us to adjust the pull weight and trigger position. In front of the trigger there is a manual safety. The beech stocks are made in Spain and are finished with a nice rubber butt pad.

In the Long version the rifle has a large air capacity, which provides the maximum possible number of shots per fill. Its total weight is only 3550 g.

All Taipan air rifles are currently assembled and finished in the Czech Republic.

Practical experience: This is a very well-made Bullpup-style rifle. The advantage of these air rifles is the German Lothar Walther barrels. We tested it thoroughly and the shooting was very accurate. The large air reservoir provides plenty of shots. We recommend the Long version especially to shooters looking for a high shot count per fill. This variant comes with a beautiful laminate stock in a black-and-white design. The laminate stocks are made in Italy.
