The appropriate stone is selected according to the degree of dullness; the edge is placed on the stone at a right angle. The sharpener is equipped with a diamond stone with grit 360 and a ceramic stone with grit 1200. When sharpening, move the edge lightly across the sharpener; excessive pressure on the edge may cause damage to it.
