Fenix TK22 TAC is a tactical flashlight with a literally armoured body made of hardened aluminium. Thanks to this, it offers an IP68 protection rating. This means it can handle immersion in water, exposure to dust, or a fall from a height of 1 m.
The heart of the flashlight is a Luminus SST70 LED, which provides a light output of 2800 lumens with a beam distance of 540 m. The efficiency of the beam is increased by an improved reflector with anti-reflective glass and an SMO parabolic mirror. The power required for operation is supplied by a high-performance 21700 battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. This battery boasts twice the capacity of a standard 18650 cell, allowing it to run continuously in turbo mode for up to 180 minutes. When the battery is discharged, simply connect a USB-C cable and wait until the red indicator changes to green.
To control the programs/modes there is a rotary switch and a two-position tail switch. First you need to unlock the flashlight by moving the rotary switch to one of the two desired programs (tactical/civilian). The tactical program offers the strongest constant and momentary turbo mode. The civilian program offers four constant modes with different intensities (high, medium, low, eco) and one flashing mode (strobe). A rear two-position switch is used to select specific modes; a full click activates constant light or, when held for more than 0.8 seconds, the strobe. A half-click, on the other hand, cycles through the modes.
After each switch-off, the last used mode is stored. To make carrying easier, the flashlight body features a clip, allowing it to be attached to a pocket or backpack.
The flashlight’s electronic circuit is additionally equipped with several safety systems, such as protection against overheating, reverse polarity, and interference from the surrounding environment.
By purchasing this flashlight, you get a professional tool with ideal light parameters, long runtime and maximum functionality.
