New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers Air rifles with side lever cocking are currently quite a rarity. This does not stop the Chinese company Snowpeak from introducing a modernised version of a proven model called SL900.
In addition to its side lever, this springer also boasts a rotary magazine we know from PCP air rifles, an integrated sound moderator and even a recoil pad with suspension, which effectively reduces recoil when shooting.
Compared to classic break-barrel rifles, an advantage is the fixed barrel, which, thanks to the absence of moving parts, maintains its accuracy indefinitely. The barrel includes an integrated sound moderator and everything is protected by a polymer coating.
The cocking lever is equipped with a series of locks that prevent it from returning to its original position until it is fully cocked into the final position. You therefore do not need to worry about accidentally pinching your fingers. When cocking, the loading probe is also retracted, allowing you to insert either one of the two supplied magazines or a single-shot adapter.
Another interesting feature is the recoil pad with suspension. When firing, it allows the whole air rifle to move backwards without your shoulder having to absorb the entire recoil at once.
For mounting a riflescope, a standard 22 mm Weaver / Picatinny rail is provided, the trigger offers adjustable pull weight and the manual safety is located directly in front of the trigger.
