The outer layer is made of waterproof nylon Ultralight DWR (technology "Durable Water Repellent"), the inner layer of quick-drying Micropolyester, and between them a three-layer thermal insulation layer with shingle construction called BHB Micro is used. The designation "CCS" tells us that the outer layer additionally uses Clima Control Shield technology, which prevents unwanted heat from escaping while ensuring balanced breathability of the sleeping bag.
All Pinguin sleeping bags use proven YKK zips that can be closed from the inside and outside. On the inside they are taped with a draft tube to prevent cold air from getting through. And if you own a second Spirit, Micra or Topas sleeping bag with the opposite zipper, you can join them together.
