The sharpener is made up of two V-shaped grooves whose grinding surfaces are made of tungsten carbide and ceramic. For quick sharpening, just pass the blade through the groove 5-6 times and the knife is ready to work. The serrated blade can be sharpened with a diamond stone for coarse grinding, while the ceramic surface finishes the serrated blade.
