Roasted Beef with Thyme Adventure Menu

This is a product line of sterilised Ready to eat meals prepared from 100% natural ingredients. They come from the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. These are hand-cooked meals preserved without chemicals. Even so, the stored sterilised food has a shelf life of up to 3 years. To prepare them, you don’t need any water. Just heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system (here you need at least a few decilitres of water) and you have a meal on the go just like at home (and often even better). It is ideal for shorter trips where you don’t count every gram, or for places with a shortage of drinking water.

Pečené hovězí na tymiánu is a very filling meal that will replenish your energy and also warm you up on the road. Marinated and roasted premium beef from young bulls literally melts on your tongue. However, you don’t get a whole steak in the pouch, but only cubes. This way you don’t have to waste time cutting meat during your hike. There is nothing better than having a full main meal on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day trip in nature, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and has taken the Czech MRE (meal ready to eat) another step closer to gastronomic heaven.

Pečené hovězí contains 98% beef shoulder, 0.5% thyme, rapeseed oil, salt and pepper. In total, you will find 11.3% fat, 5.5% saturated fat, 18.7% protein, 0% carbohydrates, 0% sugar and 1.2% salt. Altogether it provides 358 kcal (1,494 kJ).

The pack measures 19 x 15 x 5 cm and weighs only 208 g. Inside you will find 200 g of food. The contents of the pouch equal one full serving.
