That's why the Continental x8 3-24x56 SFP Tactical VCT-20A MRAD offers a truly superior LaREE and VePRO lens system with FMC coating that transmits impressive 93% of light. That makes the riflescope suitable even for low visibility conditions.
This model features an etched VCT-20A reticle in the second focal plane (the reticle does not change its size depending on the zoom level) with a total of 6 illumination levels, powered by a CR2032 battery (not included).
Elevation and lateral correction is given in milliradians MRAD (also known as MIL), where 1 click = 0.1 MRAD. The elevation rectification turret is equipped with a Zero Stop function, which allows you to "reset" the rifle scope after zeroing the gun to any value below which it won't let you go any further. Parallax correction is adjustable from 20 yards to infinity. The rotation of the rectification turrets is followed by a gentle clicking sound that allows you to adjust the rifle scope without having to take your eyes off the target.
All components are protected by a durable IP67-rated 6061 T6 aerospace aluminum housing, making the riflescope capable of withstanding recoil of 750G. The forged one-piece tube has a 30mm diameter and the scope is filled with nitrogen to prevent the lenses from fogging due to sudden temperature changes.
This model is able to withstand 750 g (unit of gravitational acceleration), which is equivalent to the recoil of .223 and .308 caliber firearms.
