Based on the statement “It is your duty to be prepared”, the manufacturer Umarex brings this perfectly crafted training pistol T4E Walther PDP Compact 4“ cal .43, which at first glance is practically indistinguishable from its live-fire version.
The main purpose of this pistol is to improve your weapon handling skills without having to buy the live-fire version and spend a long time arranging its registration or a firearms licence.
It behaves almost identically – it is equipped with a Blowback system, which gives the gun recoil (naturally to a limited extent) and with it a self-loading function (mode Semi-Auto).
The CO2 cartridge is inserted into the magazine, which has a capacity of 8 rounds. The pistol can use different types of ammunition, such as standard rubber, pepper, or powder and “marking” projectiles.
It is also possible to mount selected red dot sights from Vortex, C-More, Leupold and Trijicon on the gun, but this requires purchasing the appropriate adapter.
Just like the live-fire version, this RAM variant is equipped with a trigger safety directly in the trigger, which prevents an unintentional shot caused by snagging the trigger.
WARNING, never leave a pierced CO2 cartridge in the gun longer than necessary – you risk irreversibly damaging the seals. If you do not empty the cartridge completely, loosen it slowly and let the remaining gas escape. Dispose of empty CO2 cartridges, as they cannot be refilled.
Likewise, do not leave cartridges in direct sunlight or at high temperatures; they are under high pressure and could explode.
