Quest AIR metal detector

The Quest AIR metal detector can be summed up in two words - durable and effective. Its equipment includes everything you need for a thorough combing of the terrain, and its construction boasts a pleasant yet sophisticated design.

As such, the design consists of a 3-piece telescopic shaft made of lightweight aluminium with length adjustment from 80 to 130 cm, an adjustable armrest, a swivel mobile phone holder and a 23x13 cm DD probe. All parts form a solid unit that not only offers maximum comfort when working, but is also highly durable and waterproof to a depth of 1 meter (IP68).

As for the user interface, you can easily set one of the two detection modes (All Metal, optional discrimination), sensitivity, Threshold function, object identification with 5 tones or discrimination. A smartphone with the Quest app installed is required to view the interface. For better audibility of audio signals, you can use the option to connect wireless headphones.

When scanning the terrain, the detector uses an operating frequency of 7.5 kHz. Each found object is then represented by an ID number (from -90 to 90).

As a power source, the detector uses a Li-Pol battery, which is charged via a USB-C cable. One full charge allows up to 10 hours of operation.
