PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
With this kit you will increase the muzzle energy of the RAM pistol Umarex T4E TR 50 Gen2 to more than 20 Joules (depending on the ammunition used). With higher energy, the shot capacity per one CO2 cartridge is reduced.
OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The Power Kit contains 2 parts that must replace the original parts in the pistol: the restrictor (round metal plate) and the valve pin (cylindrical piece with thread). Thanks to the use of stainless steel they provide better smoothness and protection of the sealing rings and at the same time better withstand the cooling effect of the flowing CO2 gas.
- The restrictor with a larger opening allows faster flow of CO2 gas from the cartridge into the valve.
- The modified valve pin ensures longer valve opening, so in combination with the tuning restrictor you will achieve higher muzzle energy at the cost of higher air consumption.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
- Installing the restrictor is simple and requires only a large flat screwdriver; first you need to remove the original restrictor located inside the CO2 cartridge chamber and replace it with the new one.
- Installing the valve pin requires complete disassembly of the pistol; you need to heat the valve (blackened cylindrical part), preferably with a hot air gun, in which the original valve pin is screwed in (it is necessary to dissolve the thread locker). Then install the new valve pin using the supplied hex key and reassemble the pistol.
- At the same time we recommend checking for the presence of a valve block, which is often found in lower-powered models. It is a metal part above the restrictor which, during disassembly of the pistol, can be knocked out backwards after unscrewing the brass plate with the activation indicator.
WARNING: By performing this modification you void the warranty on the pistol!
