Vepřové s knedlíkem a se zelím Adventure Menu

This is a product line of sterilised Ready to eat meals prepared from 100% natural ingredients. They come from the Czech manufacturer Adventure Menu. This is hand-cooked food preserved without chemicals. Even so, the stored sterilised food has a shelf life of up to 3 years. You don’t need any water to prepare them. You just heat them up in a pot or in a self-heating system (here you need at least a couple of decilitres of water) and you have a meal on the go just like at home (and often even better). It is ideal for shorter trips where you don’t count every gram, or for places with a lack of drinking water.

The Czech national dish packed into a portable pouch is simply something you have to try. You’ll find pieces of juicy pork shoulder, white cabbage with onion and handmade potato dumpling pieces. There’s nothing like having a full main course on a mountain ridge or on a multi-day trip in the great outdoors, especially without the hassle of making a fire and cooking. Adventure Menu has achieved the almost impossible and has moved the Czech MRE (meal ready to eat) another step closer to gastronomic heaven.

Vepřo, knedlo, zelo contains 30% pork shoulder, 28% potato dumpling pieces (wheat flour, potato flakes /SO2/, 30% wheat semolina, salt, egg mix, spices), 26% sauerkraut (cabbage, water, salt, caraway), rice and corn flour, onion, rapeseed oil, sugar, garlic, vinegar, caraway, salt and pepper. In total you’ll find 4.3% fat, 1.4% saturated fats, 7.6% protein, 17.4% carbohydrates, 5.2% sugar and 1.3% salt. Altogether it provides you with 556 kcal (2,336 kJ).

The pack measures 19 x 15 x 5 cm and weighs only 408 g. Inside you will find 400 g of food. The contents of the pouch equal one full serving.
