The outer tent (flysheet) is made from Nylon Ripstop fabric with triple-sided silicone coating and has a water column of 4,000 mm. Instead of standard seam taping, the seams are stitched with an expansion thread which increases its volume when in contact with water, thereby sealing the needle holes. The ventilation openings are designed so that rain cannot penetrate them from any angle.
The tent’s nylon groundsheet with a polyurethane coating offers a water column of up to 10,000 mm.
The poles are made from duralumin DAC Featherlite NSL (7001 T6) segments with a diameter of 7 mm - 8.5 mm.
