The outer tent (flysheet) is made of Nylon Ripstop fabric with triple-sided silicone coating and has a water column of 4,000 mm. Instead of standard seam taping, the seams are stitched with expansion thread, which increases its volume on contact with water and thus seals the needle holes. The ventilation openings are designed so that rain cannot penetrate them at any angle.
The tent’s nylon groundsheet with a polyurethane coating offers a water column of up to 10,000 mm.
The poles are made from DAC Featherlite NSL (7001 T6) duralumin segments with a diameter of 7 mm - 8.5 mm.
