The construction consists of a steel rod that is evenly coated with a diamond coating with a fine grit. When sharpening, the entire blade surface is run over the whetstone from the handle to the tip of the knife. Always keep the same number of repetitions on each side. The diamond whetstone is much more efficient compared to a conventional steel whetstone, just a few strokes and the knife is sharp again. The rubber handle with textured surface increases comfort when working. The sharpener can be hung with a ring on the hook.
