Its central telescopic shaft is adjustable in the range from 83 to 109 cm. You therefore don’t have to worry that your child will outgrow the detector too quickly. The low weight and comfortable armrest ensure a high level of comfort even for the smallest treasure hunters.
All functions are clearly displayed on the LCD display and are controlled using the button panel located below. You can easily set the search mode (iron objects, small metal objects, coins/non‑ferrous metals), sensitivity (3 levels), discrimination (2 levels) or the volume of the audio signal (2 levels). In addition, the display also shows the current battery level, target depth (3 levels) and target colour indication (LED diode).
For accurate pinpointing of the target location you can also use the pinpoint function – simply hold the button and the changing audio signal will guide you directly to the spot. You will also be informed that you are directly above the target by a green illuminated diode.
Power is supplied by two AA batteries, which are not included in the package and must be purchased separately.
The detector is also equipped with an automatic shut‑off function: after roughly half an hour of inactivity the device starts to emit an audible warning and after 3 minutes it switches off automatically.
The detector’s construction meets protection rating IP68, which means it can withstand full submersion down to a depth of 1 metre.
