MRE One Meal, Menu V – Chicken aji

Chicken aji will completely fill you up without making you feel bloated. This emergency food ration contains a full main course including a snack. In the pack you will also find four savoury biscuits, chocolate and an isotonic drink. Altogether it provides an energy intake of 790 kcal.

The meal is nutrient-dense and nutritionally complete. The sterilised ready meal One Meal holds IFS and ISO 22 000 quality certificates. It is a truly Czech MRE, so you won’t be surprised by the unusual taste typical of foreign dehydrated meals.

One MRE Menu is designed for one person as lunch and a snack. If you take out the main course, biscuits, chocolate and drink at once, it will be enough as a lighter main meal for two people. The biscuits are not overly salty and don’t stick to your teeth. The isotonic drink is not overly sweet and has a refreshing taste.

The pack is light, weighing only 550 grams. In addition to its low weight, it is also compact. You’ll barely notice One Meal in your backpack. It even fits in the pocket of cargo trousers.

Meal Ready to Eat is easy to prepare. The Czech instructions are accompanied by pictograms. Place the capsule and the main meal pouch into the flameless heating bag. Add 60 ml of water up to the fill line – that’s just a drop more than a large shot. We drew water from a stream, so we didn’t have to touch our supplies at all. Fold the bag and place it on the ground. And you’re eating in 12 minutes. The flameless heater and zipper bag are included in the pack.

The ready-to-eat travel meal has also been tested by the Outdoor Survival team. And their verdict? Among military rations, local cuisine tends to be more of a rarity, which makes us appreciate it all the more. The meal is nutritionally balanced and tasty. The capsule generates heat for up to 45 minutes. From our point of view, it’s a great success.
