Metal Detector Minelab Equinox 900

Equinox 900 is known as the best-selling universal gold detector. In terms of construction and software, it is based on its predecessor, the Equinox 800 model. When operating, it uses the proven Multi-IQ technology developed by Minelab, a powerful 119 High Resolution Target ID system, and improved separation capabilities. A new feature is the depth mode Deept, which you can find in the higher Manticore series.

The detector’s construction is equipped with a three-piece carbon shaft, which weighs only 1.2 kg and can easily be folded down to a length of 61 cm, which is very useful for storage or transport. Thanks to its IP68 waterproof rating, it can handle work in practically any terrain. 

When working with the detector, you will appreciate its clear and user-friendly control environment. The centerpiece of all operations is the backlit monochrome display, which shows all functions. It is operated using classic buttons, with which you can set the search mode (Park, Field, Beach, Gold), the operating frequency (4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 kHz), the detection sensitivity (1–28), or switch on the All-Metal mode or precise PinPoint detection.

Audio signalling makes searching and identifying targets easier, so you immediately know whether you have found a valuable object. You can listen to the signals either through the speaker or directly in headphones. The vibration signalling is also very practical, and in bad weather the built-in LED flashlight comes in handy. 

Together with the detector, you get as standard a pair of wireless headphones and two coils – an 11" coil for general searching and a coil for searching in contaminated environments.
