Metal detector Minelab Equinox 900 Deep

Equinox 900 is known as the best-selling universal gold detector. In terms of construction and software, it is based on its predecessor, the Equinox 800 model. During operation it uses the proven Multi-IQ technology developed by Minelab, a powerful 119 High Resolution Target ID system, and improved target separation capabilities. A new feature is the depth mode Deept, which you can also find in the higher Manticore series.

The detector’s construction features a three-piece carbon shaft that weighs only 1.2 kg and can easily be collapsed to a length of 61 cm, which is very useful for storage or transport. Thanks to its IP68 waterproof rating, it can handle work in virtually any terrain.

While working with the detector, you will appreciate the clear and user-friendly control interface. The centre of all operations is the backlit monochrome display, on which all functions are shown. It is operated using classic buttons, with which you can set the search mode (Park, Field, Beach, Gold), the operating frequency (4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 kHz), the detection sensitivity (1–28), or activate the All-Metal mode or the precise PinPoint detection.

Searching and identifying targets is made easier by the audio signalling, thanks to which you immediately know whether you have found a valuable object. You can listen to the signals either via the speaker or directly in headphones. The vibration alert is also very practical, while in bad weather the built-in LED flashlight comes in handy.

Together with the detector you receive, as standard, wireless headphones and three coils – an 11" 2D coil, a 6" 2D coil, and a 15" 2D coil.
