It is based on its predecessor, the Equinox 600, in design and software. It utilizes the proven Minelab-developed Multi-IQ technology, with the new Deept mode found in the higher-end Manticore range.
The detector features a carbon fiber telescopic design - just like the Manticore model, it weighs only 1.3kg and can be easily collapsed to a length of just 107cm, which is very useful for storage or transport. Thanks to its IP68 waterproof rating, you can take it literally anywhere.
You will definitely appreciate the simple and user-friendly controls. Using the classic buttons, you can switch between the Search Mode (Park, Field, Beach), Operating Frequency (4, 5, 10, 15 kHz), Detection Sensitivity (1-25) or you can activate the All-Metal or PinPoint precision detection features.
To easily find the objects, the detector has a built-in speaker, which lets you know right away if you've found a valuable object. Alternatively you can connect it to your headphones. If it's still not enough, you can turn on the vibration signal. Furthermore, the built-in LED flashlight might come in handy in night operations.
