The blade is firmly set into a handle made of hardened plastic. The handle has a textured surface, so the knife will sit perfectly in your hand even when wet. You will appreciate its non-slip finish both when cooking and when fishing.
Protection against dulling of the edge is provided by a sheath made of the same hardened plastic as the handle. The legendary Czech manufacturer Mikov offers this knife in several different colour variants. Out in nature you will certainly appreciate the practical red version, thanks to which you are much less likely to lose the knife.
