Meat Balls with Basmati and Tomato Sauce Adventure Menu

This is a product line of sterilised meals Ready to eat made from 100% natural ingredients. They come from Czech producer Adventure Menu. The meals are hand‑cooked and preserved without chemicals. Even so, stored sterilised food has a shelf life of up to 3 years. You don’t need any water to prepare them. Just heat them up in a pot or in a self‑heating system (here you need at least a couple of decilitres of water) and you have travel food just like at home (and often even better). It is ideal for shorter trips where you don’t count every gram, or for places with a shortage of drinking water.

Meatballs with basmati and tomato sauce are a very hearty meal that will replenish your energy and warm you up on your journeys. The combination of meatballs made from beef chuck and tomato sauce flavoured with a pinch of cinnamon is a clear hit that will be appreciated especially by your children. Meatballs in tomato sauce contain 51% meat‑and‑rice balls (50% minced beef, 15% basmati rice, water, eggs, rapeseed oil, salt, dried parsley and pepper) and 49% tomato sauce (water, tomato purée, onion, carrot, celery, parsnip, parsley, corn and rice flour, rapeseed oil, sugar, lemon, salt and mixed spices). In total you will find inside 4.7% fat, 1.2% saturated fat, 6.7% protein, 15.2% carbohydrates, 9.7% sugar and 1.1% salt. Altogether it provides 516 kcal (2,168 kJ).

The pack measures 19 x 15 x 5 cm and weighs only 408 g. Inside you will find 400 g of food. The contents of the pouch make one full portion.
