The Puncher Maxi series is this manufacturer’s basic line. In its design, the air rifle belongs among classic long guns.
The polymer stock fits well in the hands. The cheekpiece is adjustable and every shooter can set their own height. The stock is also checkered at the grip area. The shape is universal, and therefore suitable for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. The manufacturer also considered the option of attaching a bipod and placed a weaver rail on the underside of the fore-end. This means there is no need to modify the stock.
The barrel is finished with a cap that covers a 1/2 UNF thread for mounting an external sound moderator.
The rifle is cocked using a side lever. The magazines are self-indexing. The 4.5 mm magazine holds 14 pellets and the 5.5 mm magazine holds 12 pellets. The air rifle is also equipped with a manual safety to prevent accidental discharge.
The air cylinder can hold 280 cc of air. A scope can be mounted on the integrated 22 mm rail.
Our experience: An air rifle designed for those who do not like the shortened bullpup version. The stock fits very well in the hands and the adjustable cheekpiece is always a bonus.
