The main advantages of the LYNX 3-9X40 AOIR MIL-DOT rifle scope include a one-piece 1" (25.4 mm) tube made of high‑grade aircraft aluminium, which guarantees low weight and mechanical durability of the entire system. The 3-9x40 magnification range is among the most popular on our market.
The lenses are coated with a multi-layer purple anti-reflective protection, which guarantees a clear and bright image even in poor light conditions. Thanks to sealing, the scope is 100% waterproof and nitrogen purging prevents internal fogging of the optical system.
The adjustment turrets are exposed, so there is no need to cover them with special caps. They are large enough and clearly separate each click, so you can easily use them even with gloves. The clicking itself is very pronounced, you can not only feel every click with your fingers, but also clearly hear it. The adjustment step is 1/4 MOA. The turrets can be easily reset (zeroed) by loosening the stainless steel screw.
The metal MIL-DOT reticle is located in the second focal plane. The reticle can be illuminated in red in 11 brightness levels. Thanks to the wide intensity range, there is no risk of unpleasant glare from the red illumination. The eyepiece of the scope offers optical dioptre correction -2/+2. On this model, the parallax adjustment is located on the front part of the scope. The VALIANT brand has worked to keep parallax error as low as possible, which shooters will certainly appreciate.
The entire optical and mechanical system has been completely redesigned. Thanks to innovative design features, it has a 30% larger field of view, improved image sharpness and more faithful colour rendition. VALIANT scopes are characterised by a wide field of view without distortion or other optical defects. The special design also eliminates the so‑called “tunnel effect” when looking through the scope (with the eye in the correct position, the image completely loses the black edges).
