New videos and reviews every day 6000+ reviews from our customers The Mikov Raptor series of OTF knives is the successor to the iconic Mikov Mackie, which first appeared on the market in the 1970s. This new generation retains the original appearance but utilizes modern materials and technologies.
This model is equipped with an 81mm Spear Point type blade with a single smooth edge made of 440C stainless steel (high hardness, wear and corrosion resistance) with satin finish.
The blade is deployed and retracted using a simple sliding button.
The most crucial element of OTF (out-the-front) knives is definitely the opening mechanism (the internal parts that deploy and retract the blade upon pressing a button).
In this case, Mikov has opted for extremely strong and lightweight titanium, which guarantees the knife exceptional durability and reliability. Thanks to this, the knife will always deploy smoothly both on the first use and after thousands of uses without the risk of any damage.
The shape of the handle is inspired by the aforementioned predecessor Mackie and conveys a sleek, clean design.
This version of the handle is made of duralumin (an alloy of aluminum, copper, magnesium, and manganese). The belt clip can be switched to the other side using two screws.
