Dogtrace d-fence 2002 is an improved version of the invisible fence. It offers a unique way of setting boundaries for your dog's movement on your property. The dog will move freely only in places where it is not in danger or cannot cause any damage. It consists of a transmitting generator with a backup battery, a receiver and an antenna. The antenna is a simple insulated wire. You need to purchase the antenna wire for this product separately.

The generator sends a signal into the antenna wire, which you use to mark out the selected area with a warning zone and a correction zone. Thanks to the battery, the generator can operate even in case of a power outage, for up to 16 hours. The receiver attached to the dog’s collar detects the signal emitted from the installed antenna wire. If the dog crosses the boundary of the warning zone, the collar starts emitting an intermittent sound signal. If the dog does not react to the sound warning and also crosses the boundary of the correction zone, the collar emits both a sound signal and a correction impulse. You can easily adjust the intensity of the correction impulse as well as the width of both the correction and warning zones.

The number of dogs with a receiver attached to their collar is not limited. The collar is compact and waterproof, and thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design it is suitable for all dog breeds. The set is suitable for installation with a wire length of up to 2200 m. For different lengths, it is necessary to choose a suitable cross-section of the antenna wire.

You can use the device in any type of terrain and its installation is very simple. For the invisible fence system to work, you must connect the wire to the transmitter and create an unbroken loop of wire (avoid damaging it). From the transmitter, run the wire around the property. You can lay the wire on the ground, bury it underground (up to 10 cm deep), or attach it to an existing fence or wall (up to 30 cm above the ground).

The package also includes an antenna wire 100 m long with a cross-section of 0.75 mm2. If you need a longer wire, you can buy additional packs and connect them using insulation displacement connectors. The wire is always sold in 100 m packs. If you want your dog to be able to freely pass through a certain place on the property where the wire must run, wind the outgoing wire around the incoming wire. Twisting the conductors around each other cancels the signal and the dog can pass through this section.
