Holosun Red Dot HS403B is a compact enclosed red dot sight with a Shake Awake battery-saving system and a red illuminated aiming dot. This model is designed for long guns and carbines.
The body is made from highly durable 6061-T6 aluminium alloy using precision milling. The total weight including the high mount is only 124 g. The red dot sight can be attached to a standard Picatinny or Weaver rail. The package includes two mounts. The high mount (1/3 co-witness) is suitable for carbines, while the low mount is ideal for rifles.
The lenses have a multi-layer anti-reflective coating that ensures high light transmission and a clear, parallax-free image. The dot-shaped aiming point with a size of 2 MOA allows for fast target acquisition.
Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery, which according to the manufacturer should provide up to 50,000 hours of operation at medium brightness setting. You can choose from a total of 12 brightness levels (10 daytime and 2 for night vision).
The internal electronics and the LED diode are resistant to shocks, recoil, and weather conditions. The Shake Awake system automatically switches off the diode when no physical activity is detected and the device enters sleep mode. To switch it back on, you simply need to move the weapon. You can set the time after which the sleep mode is activated.
