This electric high pressure compressor HILL EVO-310 from the trusted English manufacturer Hill is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to be 100% independent in PCP airgun filling.
It is easy to operate using a blue illuminated display with a rotary dial which displays the current pressure of the filling, the temperature of the air, and the desired pressure value. The compressor can handle pressure as high as 310 bar (4500psi). When the desired pressure is reached, it automatically shuts off. It is protected against overheating by a thermal fuse. The compressor uses air for cooling.
The resulting air is completely free of moisture thanks to a filter. All trapped moisture is collected in a chamber, which must be discharged through a valve after every use.
The compressor can be powered from a standard 230V / 50Hz power grid or from a portable powerstation with an electrical output of at least 2.5 kW.
MANUFACTURER'S WARNING
The EVO-310 has not yet been officially approved for the production of breathable air, therefore it is not suitable for filling bottles with breathable air (e.g. for scuba diving).
Similarly, it is highly not recommended to fill high-capacity tanks (e.g. 3l and 7l scuba tanks with gauge and hose in our e-shop) at home. It is a potentially dangerous process that should only be performed by a qualified person. Without following the proper procedure, old, damaged or corroded tanks may result in an explosion. This compressor is therefore designed exclusively for direct filling of PCP airgun cartridges.
We highly recommend the purchase of an air drying filter that removes the remaining humidity in the filling hose.
The compressor requires professional servicing and replacement of worn parts after every 50 and 100 hours of operation. You can see the current elapsed hours on the display when the compressor is switched on. Regular servicing will significantly improve the longevity of the compressor.
