The thermal monocular Hikmicro LYNX LC06 has very compact dimensions, which makes it significantly easier to carry in the field. It will certainly please everyone who is looking for a monocular spotter with good features at a good price.
Right from the start it impresses with its long operating time; thanks to its low power consumption it is able to run continuously for up to 10 hours. The current battery status can be monitored directly on the screen or via an LED located right next to the charging port.
When dealing with a small object at longer distances, you can use the 4x digital zoom to display sharper details. During observation you have 4 display palettes available: white hot, black hot, red hot and fusion. The image settings allow you to tailor the image as much as possible to your needs; you therefore have dioptre correction, lens focusing, and brightness or contrast adjustment. The LCOS display has a resolution of 720x540 and is connected to a core with 17 μm technology, a resolution of 160x120 px and a refresh rate of 25 Hz.
We certainly must not forget other useful features such as Hot-Spot (marking the object with the highest thermal value) or distance measurement – after marking the upper and lower boundaries of the object, the system calculates its distance.
During observation you can capture photos or videos, which can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable or stored directly in the integrated memory with a capacity of 8 GB. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi function allows you to control the device remotely from a phone, and thanks to the analog CVBS output you can project the image onto the display of any external viewing device.
