The HM51R V2.0 model is equipped with a high-transmission TIR optic and a Luminus SST-20 LED with a neutral light tint of 4500K and a service life of up to 50,000 hours. The light digitally regulates the output and is therefore also protected against overheating. As is already standard with Fenix products, it also features reverse polarity protection.
The power source is a Li-ion Fenix RCR123A battery with a capacity of 700 mAh. If necessary, a standard CR123A lithium battery can also be used, but with a limited maximum output of 150 lm. The battery status is indicated by an indicator LED next to the control button.
The headlamp is made from aircraft-grade aluminium alloy A6061-T6 with a hard anodised type III surface finish, withstands a drop from a height of 2 metres and is waterproof to 2 metres for 4 hours according to the IP68 standard.
