The cornerstone of the H2 optical system is the set of roof prisms (Roof), whose shape has made it possible to achieve a very compact binocular design. An equally important element of the optical system is the use of BAK4 glass, valued for its minimal light dispersion, which results in a bright and sharp image across the entire field of view. The closest focusing distance is 2 m. A major advantage is the wide field of view of 101/1000 m.
The internal components are protected by a durable yet lightweight polycarbonate body, whose outer surface is covered with a rubber layer. The precise construction ensures waterproofing and fog resistance.
