GPS locator Dogtrace DOG GPS X30T is an ideal helper for every dog handler who likes to give their furry friend a bit of freedom in nature. With this GPS locator you can find your dog even at a distance of 20 km. It is most useful especially for hunting dogs that are trained from an early age to chase game. A big problem in this respect are especially roe deer, which let themselves be chased by the dog and always wait for it until it almost catches up with them. They choose this tactic in order to protect the rest of the herd from the dog. A roe deer can drag a dog several kilometres away. Then it becomes very difficult to find the dog.

DOG GPS X30T is an improved version of the X20 locator. Compared to it, you have much wider options. You can connect the locator to your smartphone and display the paired devices directly on online and offline maps. At the same time, you can track up to 13 dogs, dog handlers or waypoints. A waypoint is a place on the map where you can guide your dog using various stimuli. Unlike its predecessor, DOG GPS X30T can transmit a sound signal with 2 levels, record the route of all devices and indicate the dog’s barking together with its position.

In addition, you can remotely switch on a light on the transmitter so you can see where your dog is. The device also includes a training module. You can send up to 15 different levels of electric impulse.

The device consists of a receiver and a small lightweight transmitter with a collar. On the receiver you monitor both the distance between you and the dog and the correct direction. You can adjust the sound volume and vibration. The transmitter obtains its position from GPS satellites. Using a radio frequency signal (RF), it processes the information about the dog’s position and then sends the data to the receiver. On the display you can also monitor the strength of the RF signal, the accuracy of the GPS and the battery status of both transmitter and receiver.

DOG GPS X30T also boasts functions such as Fence and Beeper. Fence represents an adjustable distance limit between receiver and transmitter. When your dog crosses it, the receiver beeps. Thanks to this function you know that the dog is moving away more than it should and you can call it back. The Beeper function tells you whether your dog is standing still or running.

The receiver is orange. Both transmitter and receiver are made of high-quality materials. A big advantage is its waterproof design and long battery life – more than 40 hours. A power adapter with USB cable and a charging clip for GPS are included in the package. Unlike competing collars with a flat-rate fee for use, buying the Dogtrace GPS is a one-off investment only. You do not pay any extra money for signal registration.

GPS X30T displays only a compass on the receiver. Maps are displayed only on the paired smartphone. The receiver shows the exact distance and direction of the dog from the handler. All parts of the DOG GPS X30T device, such as the receiver, RF antenna, an additional collar with transmitter, RF antenna for the collar, or power adapter with USB cable and charging clip for GPS, can be purchased separately. The receiver is also backwards compatible with X20 collars. However, not all functions will be available with them.
